Clues

You are my greatest clue
to God's majesty.
Even more than the fluid roll
of foaming ocean peaks,
or the hum of the sun on sand,
or the minute beckoning of stars,
or towers of so silent trees;
greater than all those
hints of heaven
is the Something deep in your eyes
which makes me simply bow
before the artistry of God
unfolding His masterpiece.
